Today was another day of just hanging around and resting. We got to spend the entire day with Joan and Marla, so it was a very good time. We didn't wake up until 8:30, then we went down to eat continental breakfast. After breakfast we went back up to the room and rested for awhile. I slaved away at changing the tires on our bikes while Wade just sat around and watched TV... I wasn't expecting much more. After I got some work done and Wade got some resting done, we all went out to see the NCAA hall of champions. Marla, Wade, and I went inside the museum part of it while Joan waited outside and did her crossword. It was really interesting, and there was an interactive 2nd floor, so we had a lot of fun too. I dominated Wade and Marla in all the games except soccer, but they were blessed with a GREAT soccer coach. If I have to say so myself, which I just did. After the museum, we went to a pub so that I could get a beer and we could all have a little lunch. Once we were done with lunch, we headed back to the hotel. On the way back to the hotel, Wade took a picture next to George Washington. Now he's taken a picture by Abe, George, and Ike. Also, on our way back to the hotel, we went by Lucas Oil Stadium where the Indianapolis Colts play. We were going to go into the Pro Shop to see what was in there, then we saw a door that was open to the stadium. We, being the illegal trespassers we are, went inside the door, through some large rooms, then into a hallway that was just below the bleachers and next to the field. When we got to the part where we saw an opening to the field, there was a security guard that led us back up to the Pro Shop... Yes, we were right next to the field. We were at the place where the players walk out onto the field. It was awesome. We didn't have a chance to take any picture since we got caught, but it was definitely a sight to see. Actually, our hotel room has a great view of the stadium since it's right next to our hotel.
After we were done being illegal, we went back to the hotel and relaxed for another 3 hours. At 5:00 we all went out to a Mexican Restaurant to eat dinner. It turned out to be almost the exact same thing as Chipotle, but it definitely filled us up. After dinner, we walked around a little bit, then we went back to the hotel to finish up the day and get ready for tomorrow. Just one more day in Indiana, then we move on to the greatest State in the country.
Wait a minute! Colorado is the BEST.
